Conceived as an artist’s book rather than a conventional photobook, Discommunication is printed at A3 scale on mirror-finished silver foiled stock. The reflective surface transforms each page into an active component of the work, merging the photographs with the viewer’s own reflection and extending the images beyond the printed page. Rather than recording the world as it appears, Discommunication explores how perception is shaped through fragmentation, distortion and repetition.
